Benninghoven families and friends are currently donating clean, gently used clothing for babies, children, and adults between now and December 13th. All Benninghoven and Northwest area families are welcome to come and “shop” on the morning of the 14th. This is a great way for our community to recycle clothes that are no longer being worn. We will also be collecting packaged underwear and socks for the district’s Clothing Center. All clothing that is not taken on the 14th will also be donated to the district clothing center.
Come to Spanish Club in room 108 after school on Wednesday! We are going to write letters to Spanish speaking people in the hospital to cheer them up. We will have plenty of help for lower level students so please come and write a letter! We’ll have snacks.
NAHS is having an UGLY Sweater social Thursday at 7:15 a.m. in room 9. Come in your Ugliest Holiday Sweater and create a piece of collaborative art.
All schedule changes for second semester must be completed by December 20th. There will be no schedule changes in January. See the Counseling secretary in the main office to schedule an appointment with your academic counselor to change your schedule.

Congrats to all the girls basketball teams for winning their opening games Friday night. The FR/SO team won in convincing fashion 41-19. The JV Lady Cougars slipped by the Lady Vikings 47-39 and the Varsity squad led by sophomore Brenni Rose’s 32 points and junior Tatum Graves 9 rebounds played great team defense and won 55-34. The Lady Cougars would also like to thank the Spirit Club and the entire student body at the games for being an awesome force that helped spur us to victory. All the boys and girls teams play tonight starting at 4pm at NW.
CCC members please wear your CCC shirt tomorrow for our yearbook picture. It is not too late to buy one for $10 in room 108.
Juniors who took the PSAT on Oct. 16th you will receive an explanation of your results from Ms. Schmitt on Thursday during seminar; report to the Auditorium immediately after completion of the KUGR news. Sophomores who took the PSAT will receive the results at a later date.
