Informational Meeting
Would you like to come to an informational meeting?
We host an informational meeting in January in conjunction with the annual eighth-grade orientation night. Information about that meeting will be posted on this website.
Individual meetings with parents and students are also possible. Please contact us using the information below if you would like to pursue that option.
Meetings with current sophomores and freshmen where they can receive information and ask questions of current IB students will occur before January enrollment.
We host information nights at Shawnee Mission Northwest in August and November, and one at Trailridge in January.
Would you like to come for a School Visit?
Sometimes making a personal visit to the school is important in the process of deciding if IB is the right program for you. Amy Walker, SM Northwest IB Coordinator, conducts regular meetings and tours of the school for prospective students and parents. Please contact her at (913) 993-7363 or email her amywalker@smsd.org to set up a time to come by the school and see us in action.
Transfer Information
If you are transferring from another SM School or wish to transfer from another district located within the State of Kansas, transfers must be submitted to the Director of Secondary Services at the Shawnee Mission Administration Building prior to January 5th.
